Under the very abrasion-resistant outer material (suede and microfibre) is the thin, extremely breathable Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, which ensures maximum comfort in a wide range of weather conditions. Your feet stay dry in wet weather, but if you start to sweat at high intensity of movement, the moisture forming can still kick out.
To improve the precision when climbing, the Wildfire Edge is also equipped with an edging plate, an insole plate under the forefoot that further stiffens this important area when climbing. The rest of the insole remains flexible to ensure a high level of comfort and a natural rolling movement.
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole consists of a particularly good adhesive rubber compound for high friction on plates and other smooth rock structures. The outsole design provides a balance between grip and traction and the special stud profile has proven itself on muddy and soft surfaces. It gives you effective grip – in dry as well as in wet conditions.
