It has been 8 days since I ordered my item. But the package hasn't been sent yet. This is the worst delivery service I've ever had.

Just a mediocre experience. Tried to order a jacket. It got to be about a week past the expected delivery date and it hadn't shipped yet. I found that out by going to the website and checking, not because of any communication from Columbia. In checking my order, the link on the email didn't pull up my actual order. It took me to a page where I had to manually key in my order number, then I saw it was indefinitely delayed with no reason given. Just getting an email at some point, "Your item is currently delayed. Thank you for your patience," would have been comforting. I get an email from Columbia asking for a review about my experience. Naturally I complain about the lack of communication and lack of ease in pulling up my order. I want to say it was either that day or the next, my order was just outright canceled and my card refunded. No explanation or communication given. Nothing like, "Apologies for the inconvenience. We ran out of stock and were unable to fulfill your order," or anything similar. Some simple communication or, even better, an option asking if I did want to backorder or cancel would have been great all on its own. I check a handful of days later, and the exact item in the color and size I want is in stock. What the heck? No clue what happened or why, but Columbia is a hassle to deal with. Not doing that again and not reordering.

I ordered and paid for a hat from Columbia Sportswear. It never arrived. We contacted Columbia and they promised to contact us about this order. They never did and they closed our case. This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Shame on you Columbia.
