The Hyper Taping x Issey Miyake reflects a shared interest in form, structure, and movement, blending ASICS’ performance language with a more sculptural approach. The upper is built almost entirely in black, mixing open mesh with smooth synthetic layers and glossy patent leather panels that shift with the light. Wide tape-like straps replace traditional lacing, creating a wrapped, architectural feel that’s both functional and deliberate. Underfoot, the low-profile sole keeps things grounded, letting the materials and construction do the talking. * ASICS Hyper Taping x Issey Miyake * Mesh upper with synthetic overlays and patent leather panels * Strap-based closure system * Reinforced midfoot structure * Cushioned midsole for everyday comfort * Rubber outsole for durable traction
