Professional Installation System for Organized and Protected Media Components

The Multi‑Functional Recessed Connected Media Box with Magnetic Cover & Duplex Surge Receptacle is the ultimate solution for modern home entertainment and connected media installations, designed to combine functionality, organization, and seamless aesthetics in one compact unit. Engineered for both residential and commercial applications, this recessed media box accommodates TV power sources, connectivity modules, and cable management needs‑all while maintaining a clean, professional look.
Built with versatility in mind, the Recessed Connected Media Box with Magnetic Cover & Duplex Surge Receptacle includes sturdy mounting brackets that securely hold a Samsung® One Connect Box or other external TV power sources, ensuring your devices remain stable and organized behind the wall. The package also includes two 30‑inch hook‑and‑loop fasteners, providing an additional layer of security by firmly strapping your power modules to the brackets. This prevents accidental movement during installation or routine use, giving you peace of mind that your setup is stable and safe.
Accessibility and convenience are key features of this media box. It offers two large knockouts specifically designed for USB ports, making it easy to connect and charge devices without cluttering your living space. In addition, multiple knockouts allow for conduits up to 2 inches in diameter, providing flexible routing options for various low‑voltage cables.
Designed for effortless installation, the Recessed Connected Media Box with Magnetic Cover & Duplex Surge Receptacle supports a standard 1" x 6" hole pattern and can be mounted either to the front or inside of wall studs. Its flush design ensures that once installed, the unit sits neatly with the wall, providing a clean, unobtrusive appearance. An open trim ring promotes proper airflow, preventing overheating and maintaining optimal performance of connected devices.
The magnetic vented cover adds both functionality and elegance to the media box. It attaches securely with a strong magnetic connection, allowing quick and easy access to the interior for cable adjustments or device maintenance. When closed, the cover creates a clean, seamless appearance, hiding all cables and devices for a polished, minimalist look. Its removable design ensures that servicing and upgrades are effortless, offering convenience without compromising style.
Safety and reliability are paramount, which is why this unit comes with a UL®‑listed 15A/125V duplex surge receptacle. With a maximum surge current of 15,000A, an ultra‑fast clamping response time of 1 nanosecond, and a total surge dissipation of 480 joules, it offers comprehensive protection across Hot/Neutral, Hot/Ground, and Neutral/Ground lines. The included outlet box simplifies installation, ensuring all electrical connections meet safety standards while remaining neatly contained.
