Tasting Notes The Dalmore 40 Year Old 2022 Edition sees three woods before being filled into that exquisite decanter and slipped into its mirror-lined box.; Initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks made from American white oak it's then transferred into 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso casks from González Byass – one of Spain's most famous and respected Sherry bodegas. Then it was blended with a second spirit that started life in ex-Bourbon barrels before moved into Graham's Port Colheita pipes from 1970. Sherry Port Bourbon and Scotch all come together to create a deeply indulgent super smooth and unfathomably complex dram.
