Before the collabs, before the hype drops, basically before any of it, there was the Authentic. The LX Authentic 44 Ibiza started as a sneaker that was so simple, and somehow still became the blueprint for everything that followed. The skate community picked it up in the ’70s because that waffle sole just worked, giving skaters the grip they needed, turning a basic canvas shoe into a piece of culture. This version takes that legacy somewhere completely unexpected, and honestly, we’re here for it. The classic Authentic gets flipped with a suede toe box, metallic cone studs, crystal rivets, fringe tweed around the collar and an intentionally scuffed midsole that makes it look like it already has stories to tell. That’s why we love pairs like this
