While the retro-inspired New Balance 475 and 1000 models have captured plenty of attention, it’s the New Balance 1906R, 550, and 9060 that continue to be the Boston brand's primary drivers, likely dominating well into 2025. For the upcoming colder season, New Balance is rolling out fresh styles, including the recently unveiled New Balance 9060 “Plum Brown.”
This colorway features rich burgundy suede across the upper, layered over rose-colored mesh. Cool-toned accents come in with a navy strip along the sockliner and thin synthetic underlays, complemented by translucent TPU detailing at the heel. The bold look is finished off with a black sole—a less common feature on the 9060 that adds contrast to the darker, autumn-ready palette.
