Hybrid Silhouettes Lead the Way as Crocs EXP Line Debuts “Bark” & “Black Sand”
The sneaker loafer movement continues to spark debate, yet its rise in influence is undeniable, with a wave of brands experimenting this year. Crocs is the latest to enter the arena as it launches the Gallery Shoe through its boundary-pushing EXP line.
First previewed by designer Ryan Forsyth, the Gallery Shoe draws inspiration from Crocs' Tideline Sport loafer released in 2012, offering a layered structure that echoes the archival design. The model comes equipped with laces and a hairy suede upper, supported by a rugged outdoor-ready sole. Two debut colorways, “Bark” and “Black Sand,” each deliver a monochromatic look in understated, neutral shades—branding is pared back to just an engraved Crocs wordmark on the sole.
The Gallery Shoe drops September 30 via Crocs and selected retailers like Asphaltgold for €99 EUR (approx. $116 USD). Expect further iterations of this new silhouette to be revealed soon.
