Created by Jean Claude Ellena for the Grasse collection by Perris Monte Carlo. Lavender is so closely linked to Provence that sometimes even the growers do not know that it was introduced during the Roman invasions that gave the region the name of Provincia Romana, from which its current name derives. As a perfume composer, I love the harshness of these landscapes and the beauty of the lavender fields, dove flocks of blue butterflies flutter in the air.
