Originally introduced by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1929, the chair draws upon colonial styles for inspiration and is defined by a black leather seat and a chrome frame created from a blueprint that is based on measurements derived from the Modulor. This 1:6 scaled miniature of the chair is a testament to precision and attention to detail, and was produced in collaboration with the Fondation Le Corbusier and the heirs of the co-authors.
