The Angel's Share Eau de Parfum 100 ml Refill, the result of the first collaboration with French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, is Kilian Hennessy's most personal creation, inspired by the eighth-generation heritage of Hennessy savoir-faire in cognac production. The fragrance delves into the cellars of the founder's mind and memory and into its most mysterious dimension: the part des anges, the angels' share: an evaporation of the liquor in oak barrels that rises, during aging, as a silent offering to the gods. Just as a Master Perfumer creates accords and essences in a perfume, a Master Blender combines eaux-de-vie in perfect proportions for an exceptional cognac. Angels' Share contains the essence of Cognac derived from the liquor to give it a natural caramel color. It opens with cognac oil, on a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence, and Tonka bean absolute, with long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline, and vanilla making the finish delicious, a rare concoction that only angels should try. The bottle of THE LIQUORS collection perfumes was conceived as an essential speakeasy, like art deco glasses reminiscent of the most fabulous bars. The weighted glass is engraved with the iconic K motif to project and capture light from every angle, finished with a gold diamond-shaped plaque signed in white screen printing.
