The result, heavily influenced by Bitossi's archives that date to 1871, is a series of vases that blend ceramics with brass for a smooth mix of classic and contemporary. The oblong vase 'DIM-7' combines brass with green-and ochre-coloured ceramics for an abstract silhouette that serves as both a sculptural ornament or a vessel in which to hold anything from flowers to cutlery.
