Ray-Ban has long been a household name, with its iconic designs worn across generations—your parents probably still have their favorite pair. Now, the brand is stepping up its game once again. Following the launch of its Meta Smart Glasses with Amelia Gray, Ray-Ban is making history by appointing its first-ever creative director: A$AP Rocky.

The timing couldn’t be better, as the rapper moves past a high-profile legal battle and into an exciting new chapter. To mark the beginning of his role, the 36-year-old artist is unveiling the “Blacked Out Collection,” a bold reimagining of Ray-Ban’s signature styles. This capsule collection showcases updated classics with sleek dark lenses and gold-plated accents, infusing a modern edge into timeless silhouettes. Set to drop in April 2025, this release is just the start of Rocky’s creative impact. Beyond eyewear, he’ll also influence campaigns and redesign retail spaces with his signature aesthetic.

“I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving,” Rocky shared in a press release. “I’m excited to be part of its strong heritage and help shape the next chapter of such an iconic brand.”

Stay tuned for more updates on the “Blacked Out Collection.”
