Created by Trudon, the oldest and most prestigious wax manufacturer in the world, 'Cire' paints a vivid story with a series of exotically-influenced notes. The candle, named for the brand, reinterprets Trudon’s fundamental values of ancient savoir-faire and a commitment to excellence, which are represented via top notes of bergamot, honey and waxed wood, heart notes of beeswax absolute, cinnamon essential oil and sandalwood essential oil, and base notes of musk, patchouli essential oil, tonka bean, and vanilla. The brand has long held special relationship with bees — Trudon’s motto is “Deo regique laborant”, which means: “they [bees] work for God and the King” — and in recognition of the brand's 2019 partnership with the Perche Nature Park and financial aid of its Orne Dark Bee Conservatory, 4% of all sales of the 'Cire' candle will go towards the conservation of the Orne Dark bees.
